Takes a great photo. Great for very long off shots. Heads up: You'll need to use a monopod or tripod with this lens...your hand will be too shaky if you don't (or rest it on something). I'm very pleased with this great buy.

Seldom have a need for a long lens for my Olympus four-thirds E-510 DSLR, but don't like to be without one for special situations. Opteka 500-1000 lens fills that need for a bargain price. Highly recommend it for non-professional photographer.
